Athens

Dearly beloved, I am in finally in Athens Greece after a hefty negotiating and planing period. I was invited here by Cape4 a Greek company that is involved in the yachting business and is hopefully going to be my future employer in Croatia. I will be spending three months here as a trainee in order to apply the same principles and policies of doing business in the Croatian branch which I will be running presumably. The three months in Athens are going to be followed by another three in London and Paris where I will be staying in a insurance company from France called Groupama and learning the wonders of the underwriting business.

My stay here so far has been wonderful. I arrived in Greece on Wednesday and spent two days in the office so far since today is Bank holiday and I am currently not supposed to be at the office. The office is located in marina Flisvos which is a fifteen minute drive with the local transportation from my neighborhood in Glifadas. Glifadas is one of the most beautiful parts of Athens and is very safe, a fact most important to my mom. It has all the facilities I need, from a gym near by, a huge market store to an irish pub called Molly Malone's.

Everyone in the office has been very generous and heplfull, trying to make my stay here as pleasant as possible. I feel very much like at home and am realy enjoying my stay here so far.
Hope it stays like this until I go back home.
